Spanning 17 km, this moderate hike features a rich tapestry of scenic vistas, from dense pine forests that whisper stories of old to the serene beauty of the Qyqe Stream Canyon, where the landscape unfolds in a spectacular display of natural rock formations and cascading waters. As the trail meanders through these picturesque settings, hikers are treated to panoramic views that capture the quintessential beauty of the Korça region. The route concludes in the charming village of Voskopojë, surrounded by historical architecture and old-world charm, making this hike a perfect blend of natural splendor and cultural heritage.
Itinerary
Day 1
Meeting at Start Point
08:00-08:30 Travel about 30 minutes by car to Voskopoja.
Day 2
Visiting Voskopoja
08:30-09:30 Exploring Historic Churches: Church of St. Kolli, St. Mary, and St. Prodom.
• Acquaintance with the history of Voskopoja as a center of Albanian education and culture in the century. XVIII.
Day 3
Walk for 8 hours in the mountains
• Hike about 2.5 hours on the famous trail that connected Voskopoja with the surrounding villages.
• Mountain landscapes, pine forests and photo stops.
Day 4
Follow the old caravan trail, explore Cuckoo Creek Canyon.
