This past Sunday, the world seemed to wake up in a haze of beauty. The clocks had changed, and we embraced the extra hour of sleep. As the sun cast its golden glow over Gramoz and Nemërçka, our day began with coffee at Korça Alpin Club. The desire for adventure lingered in the air, and we eagerly set out for the trail ahead.

Kolonja’s plaza greeted us with a mystical morning fog, shrouding the landscape in an ethereal embrace. The group ventured forward, always united and supportive of one another. The scenery unfolded like a dream – enter the woods, cross the creek, and immerse us in the rich aroma of pine and the vibrant colors of autumn. The forest seemed to whisper stories of ages past as we journeyed deeper into its heart.

A Cabin Retreat at 1500m Altitude

Our adventure reached new heights as we found respite at a charming cabin perched at 1500m altitude. The air was crisp, and the views were breathtaking. It was here that we paused to recharge, savoring the solitude of the woods before embarking on the next leg of our journey – a solo descent into the heart of the forest.

Autumn’s Symphony in Gërmenj

As we descended, surrounded by the rustling leaves and the enchanting hues of autumn, a question lingered in the air: What autumn was it in Gërmenj? The landscapes seemed to echo tales of distant places, and the spirit of adventure propelled us forward.

Sotira Farm: A Western Oasis

In the west, our trail led us to the picturesque Sotira Farm. The journey was a sensory feast – the sights, sounds, and scents of the autumn woods giving way to the rustic charm of the farm. Moonlit Return to Korça

As the day waned and the sun dipped below the horizon, our return to Korça was accompanied by the soft glow of the full moon. The landscape transformed once again, casting a silvery hue on our path. The magic of the journey continued under the moon’s watchful eye, creating a perfect finale to a day filled with adventure and camaraderie.
